On May 3rd, 2009 Labyrinths were set on the National Mall in Washington DC to give the world a larger picture of the labyrinth and the many celebrations world wide that celebrated it. Along with these labyrinths, enthusiasts all over the world celebrated.
The focus was set to bring about a focus of oneness in the world. Walking the world as one in synchonous walks the world over at one pm symbolizes the concept of appreciating our differences though finding our oneness with each other.
World Labyrinth Day is Celebrated currently as the 1st Saturday in May at 1pm. A Finger labyrinth can aid you if you are unable to join in the physical walk, use your fingers and enjoy the connection at 1pm.
